Flaming Out

After making the largest splash in UFA, the Flames have been nothing short of a disappointment so far. Despite locking up Zetterberg, Giordano and Sharp, the Flames’ offence has been very mediocre so far and their defense has been lacking. Sharp and Zetterberg have only combined for 7 goals so far in 16 games. That isn’t going to cut it. The season is still young but the Flames have dug themselves into a huge hole to start the season. In a competitive Western Conference, it might be a hole that they won’t be able to climb out of.
