Game 7 Heroes Advance to DHL Finals

Another milestone in the history of the DHL Vancouver Canucks: With a very close 2:1 win in game 7 at LA, the Canucks advanced to the finals for the first time in DHL history. It didnt look good when the Canucks travelled to LA for the deciding game. They not only lost game 5 and 6 horrendously (0:4 and 1:6), but also Cory Schneider, the key player in the playoffs so far, was exhausted and it wasnt clear if he can even dress for the game. But he did, and he was stellar, saving 23 of 24 shots.

Beside Schneider, Kyle Turris was the man of the day. His late 3rd period goal at 18.32 opened the gates in Canucks land. It was just his 3rd of the postseason but a huge one. The other Canucks goal scored Rookie Johnny Gaudreau, who had only 5 minutes of ice time. If the Canucks can win another series? The last one, will be the biggest challenge. But they will try. Maybe with some changes into the lineup.
