Schultz to Wild

The Justin Schultz experiment is over in San Jose. Schultz has tons of offensive talent but his consistency and questionable defensive play had him falling out of favour with the Sharks. He still has untapped potential though and if he manages to put it all together, the Wild could have a stud on their hands. Until then, their fanbase will need to continue to swallow the inconsistencies. Ryan Sproul and a 2nd leave the Minnesota Wild. Sproul has a rocket of a shot but needs seasoning and defensive polish in order to be a full timer. A shoulder injury led to a slow start in the AHL this year but he has since picked up the pace. The Red Wings are always looking for right-handed shots on their blueline so he’ll be afforded every opportunity in the future to crack their squad.
