SJ#1 AGAIN

For the second season in the row, the first pick of the DHL Entry Draft belongs to the Sharks. Once again, San Jose put together a 3 for 1 package deal to land the draft pick by dealing Sam Bennett, Jack Roslovic and Jaccob Slavin. It was a ton of talent to give up but potential top line players are hard to come by. With only one elite talent on the board in this draft, it’s no secret who San Jose is targeting. Nico Hischier is expected to don the teal and gold and San Jose is looking for him to anchor one of their scoring lines for the next decade. He basically has no weaknesses as a player other than strength at the moment so the team is confident in him reaching his potential
